The Duquesne University wrestling team lost to matches Saturday afternoon at the University of Maryland, falling to the host Terrapins, 24-13 and losing to UNC-Greensboro, 39-4. Senior heavyweight Marc Allemang posted two wins for the Red and Blue to improve his record to a team-best 31-6. He equaled his personal best win total for a season and is two shy of the school record. Fellow senior Jon Denk also captured a win versus Maryland while sophomore Jared Ricotta scored a major decision versus the Terps as well.

The Red and Blue return to the mat next Saturday, Feb. 5 as they compete in the East Regional Duals.
