Dukes Pull Out 20-19 Win at George Mason

The Duquesne wrestling team scored enough points early in the match to hold for a 20-19 triumph Sunday afternoon at George Mason.
The Dukes jumped out to a 14-6 lead after six matches on a major decision by senior Brad Cipriani at 133 pounds, a win by senior Brandon Baldini at 149, a major decision by junior Cody Midlam at 157 and a win by senior Rob Dempsey at 164.
The Dukes dropped three of the final four matches in the upper weight classes by senior Jared Ricotta's win by fall at 184 pounds gave DU enough team points for the vitory.
The Red and Blue return to the mat on Sunday, Feb. 4 as they compete in the East Regional Duals at Middletown High School in Delaware.
