The Duquesne wrestling team wrapped up its regular season, splitting a pair of decisions Saturday afternoon at the Palumbo Center. The Dukes defeated Davidson, 32-12 and fell to Pitt-Johnstown, 29-6. With the win, the Dukes set a school record for victories in a season, finishing at 13-11 in dual matches.

Seniors Brandon Baldini and Tim Frank earned victories in both matches. Baldini defeated his Davidson opponent by fall in 2:12 and topped his UPJ competitor, 10-7. Frank managed a 6-2 triumph over Davidson and won 10-6 in overtime versus UPJ.

With the regular season complete, the Red and Blue will now begin preparations for the NCAA Eastern Regional Championship, hosted by Duquesne on March 4. The Dukes will play host to Delaware State, Gardner-Webb, Liberty and Millersville with the winner of each weight class and one wildcard receiving a berth in the NCAA Championship.
