Dukes Wrap Up Duals Schedule With Two Wins

The Duquesne wrestling team completed the 2005-06 dual portion of the schedule with two wins and a loss in North Carolina over the weekend. The Dukes defeated Davidson, 21-16 and fell to James Madison, 25-12 on Sunday, then finished the trip with a 23-15 triumph at Campbell on Monday. The Red and Blue posted an 11-7 record, equalling last year's win total and falling one shy of the school record for wins.
Senior Mark Himes led the Dukes by posting a 3-0 record while Keith Pavlekovsky, Jared Ricotta, Jonathan Bittinger and Joe D'Orsie each had two wins.
The Red and Blue will take the weekend off to prepare for the 2006 East Regional Championships, held at Gardner-Webb on Saturday, March 4.
