Boeh Defeated at NCAA Wrestling Championships

March 21, 2003

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI - Duquesne's Bill Boeh (Pittsburgh, PA / North Allegheny) was eliminated from the 2003 NCAA Wrestling Championship competition as he was topped by Navy's Frank Edwards 8-0 in a 165-pound consolation match on Friday at the Kempner Arena.

The senior qualified for the tournament as a result of winning the NCAA East Regional 165-pound title for the third season. He previously achieved that accomplishment in 2000 and in 2002. Boeh closes his senior season at 31-12; his career mark is 109-44.
