Duquesne Wins National Catholic Championships

The wrestling team opened the 2002-03 campaign by winning the National Catholic Championships for the second straight year. The Dukes scored 98.5 team points defeating Gannon (73.5), John Carroll (65.0), Mercyhurst (57.0) and Mount St. Joseph's (17.0).

Seniors Bill Boeh (165 pounds) and Jeffrey Moskyok (197) won their respective weight classes while sophomores Ryan Powell (157) and Marc Allemang (HWT) won theirs as well.

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Nov. 16 as they travel to the Ashland Open.
