Bill Boeh Sets School Record for Wins
Feb. 18, 2003
Duquesne University senior wrestler Bill Boeh (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) set the school record for career wins with his 9-3 defeat of Sean Collins from Maryland on Saturday, Feb. 8.
Boeh, who captured his 100th career victory versus Jon Rugg of Millersville on Sunday, Jan. 19, surpasses Mack Rohaly (1996-97 and 2000) who posted a 103-39 record in three seasons with Duquesne (96 wins) and one at Lock Haven (seven wins), making Boeh the first person to win 100 matches in a Duquesne singlet.
Boeh, who is second on the Dukes in wins this season with a 26-10 record, has a career mark of 104-42. A two-time East Regional Champion and NCAA qualifier, Boeh is looking to become the school's first three-time NCAA participant.
The Dukes return to action on Monday, Feb. 17 as they host Pitt at 7:30 pm in the Palumbo Center.
