Red and Blue Go 4-0 at Duquesne Duals

Duquesne's men's cross country squad opened the 2004 slate by going 4-0 at the Duquesne Duals. The Dukes defeated Pitt, Saint Joseph's, St. Bonaventure and CMU. Senior Ryan Bender led the Dukes and finished second overall with a time of 21:25, just two seconds behind the first place finisher. Sophomore Chris Horvat was second for DU and fourth overall with a time of 21:40. The Dukes placed four runners in the top ten and seven in the top 15 of the 66-man race. The Red and Blue return to action next Saturday, Sept. 11 as they compete in Penn State's Spiked Shoe Invitational. Duquesne Results
