Men's Cross Country Finishes 16th of 47 at Prestigious Paul Short Invite

After a month lay-off, the Duquesne men's cross country team finished 16th in the 47-team field of the prestigious Paul Short Invitational Lehigh University on Friday. The Dukes finished just behind Wake Forest and also trailed cross country powers Indiana, Dartmouth, Georgetown and Harvard.

Evan Gomez led the Dukes in 86th place in the 401-runner field with a time of 25:19. Not far behind in 97th place was Bob Gasior with a time of 25:23, Aaron Wilkinson in 100th place in 25:34, Alex Woodrow in 118th in 25:33 and Dino Andrade in 126th in 25:37.

The Red and Blue return to action on Saturday, October 19th as they compete in the Princeton Invitational.
