Dukes Compete in NCAA Pre-National's

Duquesne's men's cross country team battled some of the top distance programs in the nation on Saturday, placing 28th of 38 teams in the NCAA Pre-National's at Indiana State. The race featured 13 nationally-ranked teams, including four top 10 teams.
Senior Tom Slosky paced the Dukes and finished 53rd in the 261 runner field with a time of 24:11. Junior Derek Dutille followed Slosky in 112th place in 24:44.
The Red and Blue will take next weekend off in preparation for the Atlantic 10 Championship to be held Oct. 27 in Philadelphia.
