Dukes Finish Third at Atlantic 10 Championship

The men's cross country team placed third at the 2002 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championship held at Pittsburgh's Schenley Park. Duquesne sophomore Ryan Bender (Indiana, PA / Indiana) placed 10th overall of 108 runners, with a time of 25:42. As a result, Bender was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Team. Following Bender were senior Dave Eldridge (Black Lick, PA / Blairsville) in 12th, freshman Jeremy Snodgrass (N. Huntington, PA / Greensburg Central Catholic) in 14th, freshman Zachary Dorman (Imperial, PA / West Allegheny) in 20th, junior Pat McGuire (Greensburg, PA / Hempfield) in 24th and freshman Bryan Herdman (Blairsville, PA / Blairsville) in 27th. The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Nov. 16 as they travel to Bucknell for the NCAA Mid-East Regional. Duquesne Results
