Atlantic 10 Names 92 Duquesne Student-Athletes to Commissioner's Honor Roll
Feb. 13, 2009 PHILADELPHIA - - Click here for the Fall 2008 Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll Atlantic 10 Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade today announced the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2008 semester, honoring each student-athlete in the Atlantic 10 with a 3.5 grade point average or better. The list includes 92 Duquesne University student-athletes. "It is a great privilege to recognize so many dedicated individuals who epitomize the true meaning of student-athlete," says McGlade. "Their desire to attain excellence both in the classroom and in their respective sport is a great reflection of not only their teammates and institution, but the entire Atlantic 10 Conference." Five of DU's 20 varsity teams finished the Fall 2008 semester with a 3.5 or better team GPA.
