Duquesne University senior cross country runner Tom Slosky (Brackenridge, Pa./Highlands) has been named the Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week for the week ending Sept. 30.

Slosky finished first for the Dukes and 12th overall in Friday's 270-runner Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University. Slosky was the top Atlantic 10 finisher in the race, turning in a Duquesne season-best time of 24:33 in the 8K race. The Red and Blue finished seventh in the 41-team field.

The Red and Blue return to action on Saturday, Oct. 14 as they compete in the NCAA Pre-Nationals at Terre Haute, Ind.
