Duquesne University's men's cross country team climbed to an all-time best fifth in the Mid-Atlantic region in the Oct. 17 United States Cross Country Coaches Assocation poll. The Dukes, who were ranked 13th in the pre-season poll, have climbed in the rankings each week before reaching a new Duquesne all-time high ranking this week following a strong performance at the Penn State National Open. DU was ranked seventh in the previous poll dated Oct. 4.

The Red and Blue will take this weekend off to prepare for the Atlantic 10 Championship held Saturday, Oct. 29 in Philadelphia.
