Duquesne University juniors Adam Shrawder (New Wilmington, Pa./West Middlesex) and Jim Spisak (Johnstown, Pa./Bishop McCort) have been named to the six-man Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country Academic All-Conference Team as announced by the league office.

After missing the opening race, Shrawder gradually improved throughout the season and finished among Duquesne's top five runners in three of the final four races of the year. A physical therapy major with a 3.64 cumulative grade point average, he finished 19th of 124 runners at the Atlantic 10 Championship, helping the Dukes to a second place showing.

Spisak collects his second Academic All-Conference honor after earning the award in his first year of eligibility last season. A two-time All-Conference honoree, he finished either first or second for DU in every race this season, including a third place showing at the Penn State Nationals, a sixth place finish at the IC4A Championship and an 11th place showing at A-10's He is a secondary education major with a 3.70 gpa.
