OLEAN, N.Y. - St. Bonaventure's Gabby Richmond recorded a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds and Mckenna Maycock added a game-high 14 points off the bench in the Bonnies' 69-56 victory over Duquesne on Saturday afternoon at the Reilly Center.

Julijana Vojinovic led the Dukes (10-11, 3-5 A-10) with 12 points and seven rebounds.

SBU (8-12, 3-5 A-10) got 13 points from Mariah Ruff and 12 from Matea Britvar.

After Vojinovic scored the first basket of the game, St. Bonaventure went on a 10-0 run over the next 2:25. The Bonnies' lead would reach 10 points after Terry's basket made the score 19-9 with 40 seconds left. In the quarter the Dukes only shot 25 percent (4-of-16) and missed all seven of their 3-point attempts.

The Dukes got the deficit down to four points at 27-23 by the 3:41 mark on Judith Sole's layup. However, Duquesne would only make one more field goal the rest of the quarter and went into halftime trailing 33-27.

A Brianna Thomas jumper off a Nina Aho steal made it a 2-possession contest at 37-33 midway through the 3rd quarter. But the Dukes would end the quarter by missing their next seven field goal attempts. Terry's 3-pointer at the buzzer put the Bonnies ahead 47-34.

A Paige Cannon layup at 7:20 got the Dukes within eight points of tying the game at 48-40, but the Bonnies would score on the next possession and maintain a double-figure lead the rest of the way --with the exception of Chassidy Omogrosso's 3-pointer with 4:34 remaining that brought the Dukes within nine points, at 53-44.

"We have been inconsistent all year long and tonight further validates that."
The Dukes shot 49 percent in their win over Saint Louis on Wednesday and only 33 percent today.

"At the end of the day, we have to get to the free throw line."
The Dukes attempted 14 foul shots, the lowest since the Jan. 1st game against George Washington.

"Anything inside, we didn't go up strong." Bonaventure outrebounded Duquesne 39-33 and outscored the Dukes in the paint 32-22.

The Dukes return home to the Palumbo Center to host Richmond (9-10, 3-3 A-10) on Wednesday night. Tipoff is at 7:00 P.M. The Spiders (9-10, 3-3 A-10) are in action tomorrow afternoon against George Mason.
