OSHAWA - Wumi Agunbiade and Orsi Szecsi combined for 32 points as the Duquesne women's basketball team defeated the All-Stars 90-37 on Sunday afternoon at Durham College.

Szecsi led all scorers with 17 points and Agunbiade added 15 for the Dukes who improved to 2-0 on their Tour of Canada. Belma Nurkic scored 15 points and Jocelyn Floyd 12.

DU jumped out to an early 11-2 lead in the game's first five minutes. Duquesne followed with a 19-8 run after Jose-Ann Johnson's layup at the 8-minute mark. The lead would extend to 30 points at 41-11 on a Jocelyn Floyd put back with 5:03 remaining in the half. The Dukes would go into halftime leading 55-13.

Duquesne scored the first eight points of the second half to build a 50-point lead at 63-13. After being held scoreless the four minutes, Johnson's "and-1" made score 66-21 with 13:46 remaining in regulation. April Robinson went coast-to-coast after a steal put Dukes up 70-24 at the mid-way point of the half.

After a day off, Duquesne will head to St. Catherine's, Ontario to face Brock University on Tuesday night. Tip-off time is set for 7:00 p.m.
