PITTSBURGH - Five players scored in double figures led by Julijana Vojinovic's 21 points as Duquesne defeated Saint Francis U 87-68 on Thursday night.

Paige Cannon recorded her first double-double with a career-high 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Dukes (6-2). Eniko Kuttor grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds while Chassidy Omogrosso, Kadri-Ann Lass and Libby Bazelak added 19, 11 and 10 points respectively.

Caitlyn Kroll scored 18 for the Red Flash (3-3). Former Duquesne forward Kyasia Duling had nine points and 15 rebounds.

Duquesne came out of the gates by scoring the game's first 15 points, holding Saint Francis U scoreless until the 4:33 mark of the 1st quarter.

The Dukes went up by 20 points on a Vojinovic 3-pointer with 7:13 remaining in the 2nd quarter. By halftime, Duquesne doubled-up SFU 56-28.

Cannon's layup at 8:59 of the 3rd quarter gave the Dukes its largest lead of the game - 33 points at 61-28.

The closest SFU would come to tying the game was 14 points early in the 4th quarter.

The Dukes have a quick turnaround when they face Central Connecticut State (0-6) on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM.


  • The season-high 87 point was the most Duquesne scored since they put up 83 against St. Bonaventure on Feb. 21, 2017

  • This was Bazelak's first career double-figure scoring game

  • Cannon's prior career-high was 10 points in her second career game at #25 Princeton on Nov. 15, 2015

  • Vojinovic attempted 18 field goals for the second straight game

  • The Dukes pulled down 61 rebounds and dished out 21 assists - both season-bests

  • Duquesne improves to 26-6 overall against SFU and have won the last eight meetings
