WBB off to Best-Ever A-10 Start After 68-50 Victory Over Fordham
The Duquesne women's basketball team scored the first 11 points of the game and led from wire-to-wire in its 68-50 victory over Fordham on Sunday afternoon.

SCOUTING FORDHAM (13-2, 2-0 A-10)
Coached by Stephanie V. Gaitley who is in her 3rd season at Fordham (51-29) and 28th overall (515-299) ... Gaitley is 11-5 all-time against Duquesne (11-3 as coach of Saint Joseph's and 0-2 as coach of Fordham) ... leading scorer is Erin Rooney (20.1 ppg) ... Rooney is also Fordham's leading rebounder (8.2 rpg) ... coming off a 75-61 victory over Massachusetts on Sunday ... currently on a 12-game winning streak ... perfect 8-0 record at Rose Hill Gym this season and have won 13 straight in the Bronx dating back to Feb. 13, 2013 ... The Duquesne women's basketball team scored the first 11 points of the game and led from wire-to-wire in its 68-50 victory over Fordham on Jan. 27, 2013.

The Dukes improve to 16-3 overall and are 5-0 in the Atlantic 10 Conference for the first time in program history. The Rams, who were riding a seven game winning streak, are 14-6 overall and fall to 4-1 in conference play.

Wumi Agunbiade led all scorers with 22 points on 10-of-17 shooting and Orsi Szecsi recorded her fourth career double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. April Robinson added 13 points and had a team-high four assists for DU. Jocelyn Floyd had a game-high five steals in just 15 minutes played.
