NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - After averaging 25.5 points per game, shooting 57 percent – including 47 percent from 3-point range – and making 83 percent of her free throws while leading Duquesne to a pair of wins, Chassidy Omogrosso was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week.

In the Dukes’ 78-50 win over La Salle on Jan. 17th, She scored 23 points on 9-of-14 shooting and 4-of-5 3-pointers.

On Sunday, Omogrosso scored a career-high 28 points in DUQ’s 71-64 win over George Mason. She was 8-of-16 from the floor, with three 3-pointers and 9-10 from the line.

She has moved into 23rd place on DUQ's all-time scoring list (1,070 points).

Duquesne (16-3, 6-0 A-10) look to start off 7-0 for the first time in program history when they travel to Saint Joseph’s (9-9, 4-2 A-10) on Wednesday. The Dukes are looking for their first-ever win on Hawk Hill.
