2012 Atlantic 10 All-Conference Teams Get Acrobat Reader

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Senior Alex Gensler and sophomore Wumi Agunbiade were named Atlantic 10 Second-Team All-Conference and junior Jocelyn Floyd was named to the All-Defensive Team as announced by the conference today. Additionally, Gensler was voted to the All-Academic Team.

Gensler, who was named Pre-Season Third-Team All-Conference finished the regular season seventh in the conference in scoring with 13.9 points per game and fourth with 59 3-pointers. A double major in marketing and sports marketing, Gensler has a cumulative grade point average of 3.65.

Agunbiade, who was the 2011 A-10 Rookie of the Year, finished the regular season fourth in the conference with 14.6 points per game and ninth in field goal percentage, making 49.7 percent of her shots.

Floyd, who earns her first A-10 honor, finished the regular season first in the league with 111 steals. She recorded the most steals in the A-10 since Liz Hanson from Xavier had 117 in 1993. Floyd also ranks fifth in the NCAA with 3.8 steals per game.

Duquesne, who is a #7 seed, will play #10 seed George Washington in the first round of the 2012 Atlantic 10 Championship on Friday. Tipoff is at 5:00 p.m.
