Szamosi Leads Hungry to 4th Straight FIBA U20 European Women's Championship

SOFIA, Bulgaria - Amadea Szamosi has led the Hungarian National Team to its fourth straight victory at the FIBA U20 European Women's Championship. Hungary was an 82-41 winner over Romania on Monday and 68-44 winner over Lithuania on Tuesday.
After Romania scored the first six points of the game, the Hungarians finished Quarter 1 on a 14-2 run. After building a 10-point halftime lead, Hungary outscored Romania 26-5 in Quarter 3. Szamosi finished the contest with 15 points on 7-of-13 shooting, five rebounds and three steals in 20 minutes of play
Szamosi led all scorers with 20 points in their win over Lithuania. Hungary started off the game on a 16-6 run and led from beginning-to-end. Szamosi scored eight of her points in Quarter 1. She tied game-highs with eight rebounds and two blocks.
After five games, Szamosi leads Hungary with 16.2 points per game, 7.8 rebounds per game and 3.8 steals per game.
Next up is Israel (1-4) on Wednesday.
