Women's Basketball Signs Oditte Odisho to National Letter Of Intent

PITTSBURGH - Duquesne University head women's basketball coach Suzie McConnell-Serio has announced the signing of 5-6 guard Oditte Odisho (London, Ontario/John Paul II/Daytona State C.C./Panola C.C.) to a National Letter of Intent. "We are looking forward to having Oditte at Duquesne," said McConnell-Serio. "She is an excellent ball-handler and can score." Odisho comes to the Bluff by way of Panola C.C. in Carthage, Texas. During the 2011-12 season with the Fillies, Odisho averaged team-highs 14.0 points per game and 4.6 assists per game. She was named to the NJCAA Region XIV All-Conference team while leading Panola to a berth in the Region XIV championship. Prior to her time with Panola, Odisho spent the 2010-11 season at Daytona State Community College in Daytona Beach, Fla. She was named to the Mid-Florida Conference Second-Team All-Conference team after averaging 6.2 points per game and recording 44 assists while leading the Falcons to a 19-11 record and a berth in the elite eight of the state playoffs. A graduate of John Paul II High School, Odisho played on the same AAU team with current Dukes Wumi Agunbiade and Jose-Ann Johnson.
Odisho will have two years of eligibility with Duquesne.
