Women's Basketball to Play Three Exhibition Games in Canada

PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne women's basketball team will be embarking on a three-game, six-day exhibition tour of Canada beginning on Aug. 16th. On Aug. 18th the Dukes will play the All-Stars, which is a team comprised professional players, several who played at the Division I level. The game will be played at George Brown College in downtown Toronto. The following day on Aug. 19th, DU will face A-Game, which is an AAU squad. Current Dukes Wumi Agunbiade, Jose-Ann Johnson and Oditte Odisho played on A-Game. The game will be played at Durham College in Oshawa. The last game of the tour will be on Aug. 21st when Duquesne plays at Brock University. The Badgers are coming off a 25-14 season and returns their top five scorers from a year ago including four starters. Brock University is located in St. Catharines. The regular season will begin on Nov. 9th when the Dukes host Liberty in the first round of the Preseason WNIT.
