A-10 Releases Women's Basketball Schedule

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference has released its 2013-14 league schedule today. The A-10's 13 members will face each school once and four schools twice as part of the 16-game schedule.
Duquesne's home-and-home opponents include WNIT participant and conference tournament runner-up Fordham, VCU, Rhode Island and long-time rival St. Bonaventure.
The other four home opponents are defending regular season champion Dayton, George Washington, La Salle and Massachusetts.
On the road, the Dukes will face defending champion Saint Joseph's, A-10 newcomer George Mason, WNIT participant Richmond and Saint Louis.
Conference play will begin at home against St. Bonaventure. The date, which will be determined due to television, will be aired on the CBS Sports Network. The Dukes will remain at home to host VCU on Jan. 4th.
The next two games will be on the road, beginning Jan. 8th at Fordham. Duquesne will then travel to Saint Louis for a Jan. 11th game.
The Dukes return home for a pair of games starting with Massachusetts on Jan. 15th and Rhode Island on Jan. 18th.
The next three games will all be played in the stats of Virginia. The Dukes will play at VCU on Jan. 22nd, at George Mason on Jan. 29th and at Richmond on Feb. 1st.
George Washington comes to the Palumbo Center on Feb. 5th and Dayton on Feb. 8th.
Duquesne travels to St. Bonaventure on Feb. 15th before heading to Saint Joseph's on Feb. 18th for a nationally televised game on the CBS Sports Network.
In the final home stand of the season, Fordham comes to Palumbo Center on Feb. 22nd and La Salle on Feb. 26th.
The regular season wraps up at Rhode Island on Mar. 1st.
The 2014 13-team Atlantic 10 Championship will take place at the Richmond Coliseum March 5-9. The championship will open with a play-in game on Wednesday the 5th, followed by four first-round games on Thursday, March 6th. The four quarterfinal games will tip-off Friday, March 7th followed by the semifinal round on Saturday, March 8th which will be televised live nationally on CBS Sports Network. The finals, on March 9th, will air live on ESPNU beginning at 11:00 a.m.
