College Sports Madness, part of the USA Today Sports Media Group, has named Wumi Agunbiade its Atlantic 10 Conference Preseason Player of the Year.

Agunbiade, who is going into her junior season, is the league's leading returning scorer averaging 14.7 points per game. She is coming off a sophomore season where she was named Atlantic 10 Second-Team All-Conference and was a two-time A-10 Player of the Week. Additionally, she was a two-time College Sports Madness Player of the Week and earned the Pickin' Splinters Performance of the Week.

Agunbiade was also named to College Sports Madness' Preseason First-Team All-Conference squad.

The Dukes' season begins Nov. 1st with an exhibition game versus California, Pa. with the regular season beginning Nov. 9th at home against Liberty in the First Round of the Preseason WNIT.
