Women's Basketball Faces Princeton Tonight at 6:00 p.m.

WHO, WHAT AND WHERE: The Duquesne women's basketball team is on the road this evening at 6:00 p.m. against Princeton at the Jadwin Gym.
DUKES AND TIGERS: Tonight marks the third all-time game between Duquesne and Princeton. The series began December 3, 1983 as the Dukes defeated the Tigers 70-65 in the championship game of the Bucknell Tournament in Lewisburg, Pa. Last season, in front of a season-high crowd of 1,222 fans, Megan Cowher's 3-pointer with 19 seconds remaining was the deciding factor in the Tigers 62-59 win at the Palumbo Center.
DUQUESNE LATELY: The Dukes are coming off a 66-43 overtime loss at Saint Francis, Pa. Tuesday night. Kristi Little led the Dukes with a team-high 20 points. The Dukes and Red Flash exchanged leads four times in the first 11 minutes of the second half. Samantha Pollino's layup tied the score at 52-52 at the 1:06 mark. The Red Flash had the ball with 14 second remaining in regulation. Hodges missed a layup with four seconds left. Robinson rebounded the ball but her layup with two seconds remaining rolled off the rim. Regulation ended tied at 52-52 and for the third time in four games, Duquesne was headed to overtime. The Dukes could only muster a Singleton field goal in the extra period as the Red Flash dominated overtime outscoring DU 14-2 as a Scott foul shot with 51 seconds remaining gave SFU the 66-54 victory.
PRINCETON LATELY: 2-5 on the season ... coming off a 63-55 win at St. Francis, N.Y. ... team averages 60-4 ppg, led by Megan Cowher's 19.1 ppg ... Cowher is just a few rebounds shy of averaging a double-double with 9.6 rpg.
LOOKING AHEAD: After tonight's game, Duquesne will have a three-game homestand beginning with Binghamton Dec. 4. Duquesne will host West Virginia Dec. 7 and after finals, the Dukes will close the homestand with IPFW Dec. 16.
