Lacrosse Improves to 5-1 With 13-4 Victory at Detroit

Duquesne's lacrosse team jumped out to an 8-0 lead in cruising to a 13-4 victory at Detroit Sunday afternoon. Under very cold condtions, Amanda Kidder managed five goals while Lib Lowry, Kaelin Shaw and Haley Marafioti each scored twice.

Kidder also led the way with four ground balls and two caused turnovers while Meredith Micho led DU with four draw controls and added three ground balls. Lowry had a team-high three assists. Caitlin Prince and Michelle Morris were the other goal scorers.

The Dukes return to action on Wednesday, March 19 as they host Canisius at 4:00 on Rooney Field.
