Duquesne Lacrosse Crashes Down on Niagara, 19-5

Duquesne's lacrosse team raised its record to 5-3 with a 19-5 victory Friday evening at Niagara.
DU jumped on the Purple Eagles early with goal by Denk and Clare Hurley in the first minute and a half for a 2-0 lead.
Following a Niagara goal, the Dukes scored the next five and tallied 12 of the final 14 scores of the half to cruise to a 14-3 lead and eventually, the victory.
Liz Walker made nine saves in 46 minutes, Hurley scored twice and added five draw controls.
The Dukes return to action on Tuesday, March 20 as they travel to St. Francis for a 7:00 pm start in Loretto, Pa.
