Dukes Lose at La Salle, 10-9

Duquesne's lacrosse team dropped its first contest since Feb. 25 with a 10-9 loss at La Salle Friday evening in Philadelphia. The Dukes fell to 11-2 overall and 2-1 in Atlantic 10 play.

Clare Hurley, Haley Marafioti and Caitlin Prince each had two goals as the Dukes outshot the Explorers, 33-16.

Amanda Kidder led the Red and Blue with four ground balls, five draw controls and three caused turnovers. Kristen Gregory made three saves in goal.

The Dukes return to action on Sunday, April 12 as they face Saint Joseph's at 1:00 pm.
