DU Lacrosse Holds Off GW for 6-5 Victory

The Duquesne lacrosse team improved to 4-1 in Atlantic 10 play and gained sole posession of second place in the A-10 standings with a narrow, 6-5 victory over George Washington, Sunday afternoon in DC.

Amanda Kidder accounted for three of the DU goals while Clare Hurley, Caitlin Prince and Meredith Dunn tallied the other three.

The Dukes wrap up the regular season this weekend as DU hosts La Salle, Friday at 4:00 pm for senior day and travels to UMass for the regular season finale, Sunday at noon.
