NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Duquesne lacrosse team was picked to finish tied for third place with Richmond in a preseason poll of league coaches and media.

The Dukes, who are coming off a 9-8, 4-3 season in 2009, will return the 2009 A-10 Co-Offensive Player of the Year Meghan Frederick and 2008 A-10 Student Athlete of the Year and First-Team All-Confernce selection Kat McNish who missed all of last year with an injury.

Duquesne opens up the 2010 season in Denver, Colo. against Stony Brook on Feb. 20.
