THE SERIES
- The Dukes are 6-0 all-time against the Purple Eagles in the series which dates back to the 1997 season. DU owns a 4-0 advantage in games played in Pittsburgh. 

- Duquesne and Niagara last met in 2014 with the Dukes claiming a 19-6 victory.

SCOUTING THE DUKES
- The Dukes tallied eight goals against 12th-ranked Penn State in their last contest on Wednesday afternoon. Sophomore midfielder Kirsten Barnes (Brielle, N.J./Manasquan) recorded her first career hat trick to pace Duquesne against the Nittany Lions.

- Senior attacker Jill Vacanti (Penfield, N.Y./Penfield) leads the Dukes with five points (3 G, 2 A) while junior midfielder Sarah Kollhoff (Exton, Pa./Downtington) has netted a team-high four goals.

- Junior defender Erin Conway (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) has recorded team-highs of nine ground balls and six caused turnovers.  

SCOUTING THE PURPLE EAGLES
- The Purple Eagles come into Sunday’s contest with a 2-0 ledger with victories over Binghamton (8-7) and St. Bonaventure (16-6).

- Niagara finished with a 9-10 overall mark with a 5-3 record in MAAC play in 2017.

- First Team All-MAAC selections Rachel MacCheyne and Alexandra Higgins return for the Purple Eagles in 2018.
