Amanda Kidder Named Atlantic 10 Lacrosse Player of the Week

Duquesne University lacrosse junior Amanda Kidder (Fairport, N.Y./Victor) has been named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for the week ending April 6. This is her second Player of the Week honor of the season and Duquesne's fifth straight POW award winner.
Kidder exploded for 13 goals on 14 shots over the weekend as the Dukes opened Atlantic 10 play 2-0. She also added two assists, three ground balls, eight draw controls and three caused turnovers.
In Friday's win over visiting George Washington, she scored a Duquesne season-high seven goals and added three draw controls. In Sunday's 21-13 victory at George Mason, Kidder scored six times while adding two assists. She also managed three ground balls, five draw controls and three caused turnovers.
The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, April 11 as they travel to La Salle for a 7:00 pm contest.
