PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne lacrosse program welcomes nine new members to the Dukes lacrosse team for the upcoming 2018 season.
Second-year head coach Lisa Evans announced the addition of Carlee Braverman, Michaela Connolly, Mary Dailey, Emma Eberly, Julianna Hamilton, Lindsey Mellott, Hayden Posencheg, Sydney Reed and Emily Zobian to the Duquesne lacrosse program.
The nine new Dukes hail from four different states in the region, including Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and New York.
"The coaching staff is really excited to welcome this rookie class to our Duquesne lacrosse family," Evans said. "They have done some really nice things in fall ball and we look forward to watching them develop as the year continues on."
The Dukes wrap up the fall season this Friday on the road at Robert Morris. Duquesne opens the 2018 spring schedule against the same Colonials on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. at Rooney Field.
