On Saturday, April 20th the Duquesne women's rowing team was at home on the Allegheny racing teams from the University of Pittsburgh, Mercyhurst College, and Carnegie Mellon University.

A total of 67 percent of the Duquesne student-athletes have earned a spot on the Director of Athletics' Honor Roll for the end of the Spring 2013 semester.

Duquesne had a windy weekend for racing while in Cherry Hill, NJ for the Knecht Cup Regatta. Racing against teams from all over the East Coast and Midwest, the Dukes had one of their best ever showings at this race.

On Sunday the Duquesne Rowing team was in Fairfax, VA for the Occoquan Sprints with the teams from Navy, Bucknell, Delaware, Temple, and La Salle to name a few. Due to floating starts and high winds, times from different heats/finals cannot be compared.

On Saturday, March 23rd Duquesne Rowing was in Indianapolis, IN for a scrimmage with teams from Ohio State, Purdue, Dayton, Marietta, and North Park.

For the week of spring break the women's rowing team enjoyed some sun, warmth, and much needed water time in Orlando, FL. To close out the week they took part in a race on Lake Maitland against teams from Nova Southeastern, Rollins College, The University of Florida, and Villanova University.

Duquesne Rowing began its fall racing season on Saturday with a cold but competitive Head of the Ohio Regatta here in Pittsburgh, PA. The Dukes did not race in their normal red and blue, but instead wore pink shirts to support breast cancer awareness in support of Amy Wassenberg who lost her battle with cancer just after Labor Day...
