Carol Schoenecker is a graduate student currently studying Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution here at Duquesne University. She recently graduated Cum Laude from Bucknell University with a double major in history and classics and a minor in African studies.
While at Bucknell, Carol was a key player for the rowing program earning a seat in the varsity eight as a freshman. Some notable athletic achievements for Carol during her four years at Bucknell are being a four-time Patriot League Champion in the varsity eight which also won boat of the year four years in a row.
During the summer of 2008 Carol had the honor of racing at the prestigious Women's Henley Regatta in England. She also received CRCA 2nd team All-Region honors in 2009 as well as first team All-Patriot League in 2011, and was voted Bucknell's NCAA Woman of the Year in 2011.
Carol's academic honors include being a member of the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society, being a CRCA National Scholar Athlete, as well as earning a spot on the Academic All-Patriot League in 2011.
