Dukes Tie For 8th At A-10 Rowing Championships

Collingswood, New Jersey - Duquesne's women's rowing team finished tied for eighth place Saturday at the Atlantic 10 Women's Rowing Championships at the Cooper River Park in Collingswood, NJ. The University of Massachusetts won its ninth title in as many years. Other league schools competing were Dayton, Fordham, George Washington, La Salle, Rhode Island, Saint Joseph's, and Temple. The Dukes, who finished ninth in this event last season, will hit the water next Saturday, May 1, 2004 at the Mid-America Collegiate Rowing Association Championships in Athens, Ohio.
