Caitlin Hughes-Whittaker enters her first season as an assistant coach at Duquesne.
Hughes-Whittaker comes to the Bluff from Ohio University where she was head coach for the women's soccer club team for three seasons.
Her coaching career began in 2002 at Sylvania (Ohio) Northview High School as an assistant to current Duquesne head coach Tim Zundel.
She also served as an assistant coach for the SKY Soccer Club U-11 girl's team in Bowling Green, Ky. in 2003.
Collegiately, Hughes-Whittaker was a one-year letter winner for the University of Chicago before transferring to the University of Toledo. As a Rocket, she earned three letters and graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in individualized programs in 2002.
She married Bradley Whittaker June 18, 2005.
