Debbie Moore is in her first season at Duquesne and will be the athletic trainer for women's soccer and women's basketball.
Prior to coming to Duquesne, Moore was an athletic trainer at Chatham University, contracted through UPMC. In addition to working with several of the Cougars athletic teams, she was responsible for overseeing the orientation and mentoring of new athletic trainers at UPMC each year.
Moore completed her bachelor's degree in rehabilitation science/athletic training at the University of Pittsburgh in 2007 and added a master's in exercise science/clinical exercise physiology from George Washington in 2009. She is board certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association and is a member of the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers' Society. She also holds American Red Cross, First Aid, CPR and AED certifications.
Moore and her husband, Tim, live in Shadyside.
