Huntington, W.Va. - For the second day in a row, the weather has been uncooperative in southwestern West Virginia and the participants were again unable to get in the opening round of Marshall University'sThundering Herd Nike Classic Tournament.

The games, matches between Jacksonville and Pittsburgh and between the Dukes and host Marshall, originally scheduled for Friday night, had been postponed until today. However, continued poor weather conditions has cancelled these matches.

The forecast is that the heavy rain will end Saturday afternoon. Chances of showers will continue past sunset and end in the late evening. Sunday is expected to be much better, partly cloudy with highs in the upper 80s.

Sunday's games with follow the original schedule. Duquesne (9-10-1, 4-6-1 A-10) will face Jacksonville (5-9-5, 3-3-4 Atlantic Sun) at 11:30 a.m. followed by host Marshall (3-13-3, 0-11-1 MAC) versus Pittsburgh (6-10-1, 2-7-1 Big East) at 2:00 p.m.
