MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Kahli Hale's goal in the 77th minute broke a 1-1 tie to give the Duquesne women's soccer team its second straight victory after defeating Robert Morris 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at the North Athletic Complex.

The Dukes got on the board first when Caroline Lacy rebounded Bridget Lynch's shot past RMU keeper Chealsea De Jager in the 10th minute.

Paige Maroney nearly put DU up by two goals two minutes later, but her shot hit the post.

The Colonials' Ayana Davis tied the contest in the 43rd minute off assists from Katie Austin and Madison Kozlowski to send the contest into halftime tied 1-1.

The match remained deadlocked until Hale poked a Stephanie Colon shot into the right corner of the net.

Robert Morris had a chance in the final minute, but the Duquesne defense cleared the zone after a corner kick with 14 seconds remaining.

Next up for the 2-3-0 Dukes is West Virginia on Thursday. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
