Morgan Herbert set up Paige Maroney for a goal in the 38th minute. The Mountaineers answered in the 48th minute when Kate Schwindel took a Kelsey Maloney pass for a goal.

WVU keeper Sara Keane stopped Stephanie Colon as time expired on a breakaway. Keane challenged low and pushed Colon's shot out of bounds as the horn sounded.

The Dukes remain on the road to play Ohio State Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
