The Duquesne women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss in its home opener this evening to Robert Morris on Rooney Field. The Dukes out-shot the Colonials 21 to 11, including an 11-4 edge in the second frame.

The Dukes' goalkeeper Virginai Bondi (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville) recorded seven saves in 90 minutes of action. Robert Morris' Nicole Hilderbrand hit the unassisted score at the 88:20 mark for the win.
