The Duquesne women's soccer team suffered a 4-0 non-conference loss at Ohio University Friday afternoon at Chessa Field. The Dukes trailed 0-1 at the half before the Bobcats executed a solid second half performance netting three goals in the final 13 minutes of play.

Freshman keeper Virginia Bondi (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville) recorded eight saves facing 24 shots on the day. Senior Lauren Bracco (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hallow Hills West) paced the Dukes offensively with three shots. The Dukes were out-shot 11-24 for the contest.

Duquesne returns to play on Friday, September 26 as they open Atlantic 10 play hosting St. Bonaventure at 7:00 pm on Rooney Field. They complete the weekend hosting Pitt on Sunday for Youth Night for a 7:00 pm start. All youth and club teams are invited to come out and watch the Dukes and Panthers battle for City bragging rights.
