QUICK RECAP: The Duquesne women's soccer team trounced Saint Francis U 6-0 this afternoon in Loretto.

The Dukes got on the board in the 25th minute when Malea Faban and Anny Losco set up Katie O'Connor for her 4th goal of the season. Jorden Thornton scored her first career goal just before halftime giving the Dukes a 2-0 lead heading into the break.

The 2nd half was all Duquesne as they got goals from O'Connor, Alexis Fruzzetti, A.J. Baroffio and Dani Wenger.

Kyra Murphy and Lexi Cooke combined to made five saves the team recorded their fifth shutout of the season.

"We couldn't have asked for a better result and performance as we head into conference play next week. It took us some time to get going but once we did it was fun to watch. It's always a big positive when you can get the entire team involved in the game and we had some key contributors from players coming off the bench."

UP NEXT: The Dukes open Atlantic 10 play at home against Richmond at 7:00 p.m.
