BRONX, N.Y. - Fordham's Kaitlin Abrams scored in the 57th minute and Kate McDonnell added an insurance goal in the 88th minute to lead Fordham to a 2-0 victory over the Duquesne women's soccer team in the Atlantic 10 Conference opener on Friday evening.

Rams keeper Rachel Suther made three saves in recording her second shutout of the season. Dukes keeper Davon Tabata faced 16 Fordham shots and made six saves.

The Dukes fall to 4-6-1 overall and 0-1-0 in the conference loop.

Duquesne remains on the road and will face La Salle on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m.
