Dukes Come From Behind For 2-1 Win

Duquesne's women's soccer team improved to 7-6 overall and 2-2 in Atlantic 10 play with a 2-1 come-from-behind win at La Salle (5-5-2, 1-3-0 A-10). Trailing 1-0 at halftime, freshmen Faye Rasmussen and Nicole Nanchoff scored second half goals for the Dukes. Freshman Kelly Reed assisted on Nanchoff's game winner.
Sophomore Rachel Gecik recorded seven saves and is now 3-0 on the season.
The Dukes return to action on Sunday, Oct. 10 as they travel to Fordham (6-2-2, 1-2-1) for a 1:00 pm contest.
