Women's Soccer Hands Saint Louis First Conference Loss, 2-1

PITTSBURGH - Laura Tlumack's goal from 40 yards out and Katie Rust's goal off a pass from Brooke Nettuno lifted the Duquesne women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Saint Louis on Friday night. The Billikens were previously undefeated in Atlantic 10 Conference play.
The Dukes improved to 3-9-1, 2-2-1 A-10 with the win while SLU falls to 4-6-3, 2-1-1 A-10.
Duquesne got on the board first when Tlumack booted a free kick 40 yards over the head of Saint Louis keeper Katie Walsh off a free kick.
The Dukes would add to the lead when Rust beat Walsh from 15 yards out.
SLU got on the board in the 73rd minute when Abbey Stock scored on a breakaway
DU keeper Ashley Szalwinski made six saves while picking up her first win of the season.
The final home match will be Sunday when the Dukes take on Charlotte at 1:00 p.m.
