Dukes Fall at Dayton, 5-1

The women's soccer team fell to 5-10-1 (1-6-1 A10) with a 5-1 loss Friday night at Dayton (14-2-0, 7-1-0 A10). Sophomore Katie Schwager (Akron, Ohio / Walsh Jesuit) scored the lone Duquesne goal on a penalty kick, making her 4-4 on the season in penalty kicks. Goalie Kristin Scharphorn (Niskayuna, N.Y. / Niskayuna) had seven saves. The Dukes return to action on Sunday as they travel to Xavier (6-9, 2-5 A10) for a 1:00 pm game at Corcoran Field.
